Cooktop Installed in Larger Opening
Topics:
- If the openings are a little different from an old cooktop to a new, will the unit fit?
- What to do if the old cooktop opening is larger than the new cooktop opening?
Answer:
If the new product opening size is smaller than the old, a countertop filler or custom brackets will need to be made to support the new cooktop opening size. Brackets or filler can be installed on the underside of the countertop to accommodate a smaller opening when needed.
